Diane B Morgan
Montgomery County Controller
Diane is a graduate of Temple University where she received both a B.A. and M.A. in Speech Pathology.  She holds a PA Speech Pathology license and an insurance license in Life and Health.  She is a business owner, insurance agent, and activist.  She is married to David.  They have 2 married daughters and 4 grandsons.

Diane founded DM&A, a rehabilitation agency providing speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and audiology services to long term facilities, hospitals, home health agencies and private clients.  As CEO, she was responsible for marketing, management, employment contracts, budgeting, staff development, finance reporting, negotiating loans, and annual audits.  After 18 years, the company was sold.  After witnessing the costs involved in long term care, she turned her career to the sale of LTC policies that would offer protection to the public.

Diane has worked with Citizens for Better Ambler since 2004 and is a founding member of the Citizens Advisory Group that works with the E.P.A. to find viable solutions to the 38 acre Bo-Rit asbestos site in Ambler.  The site was listed on the National Priority List on April 9, 2009 and is currently a superfund site.

In 2007, she was elected Controller of Montgomery County.  Diane is the 1st the first female to hold that office in more than 150 years.
